The Empire State Building

The Empire State building is one of my favourite iconic american architecture. This 102 story high building in Manhattan, New York was considered to be the highest in the world for nearly 40 years. and right now is the 35th tallest in the world and the 4th tallest in the U.S.

The bulding first opened coincided with The Great Depression in the U.S. resulted in more than half of the office space was unrented, and it's poor location which is far than strategic is not helpful. because of this New Yorkers deride the building as the 'Empty State Building'.

In the 86th floor, the building offers a breathtaking 360 degree observation deck that shows an impressive view to the city. so impressive in fact, that it's estimated the observation deck alone has attracted around 110 million tourists since it's first opened for public.
